Yes, it doesn’t hold a whole tissue box. This IS the tissue box, so I have no idea how people thought it would. You’ll have to buy a square tissue box from the store and then rip it open to get the tissue from inside without messing up the way the paper is interlocked. Then, put the tissues in the holder and feed the topmost tissue through the hole. It’s pretty straight forward.Anyway, as for the holder itself, it’s made well, although it would benefit from having more weight in the bottom so it wouldn’t lift as you took a tissue out. I have a metal bedside table so I think I might use an adhesive magnet and fix it to the bottom of the holder so it won’t lift. Besides that, it works well and looks adorable.
